In this edition "Things you need to do know about Patch 3.02" Yes kiddies after the servers come up after maintence we'll have a new patch :D
Make sure you have the pre patch data downloaded
A few weeks back Blizzard started releasing part of the upcoming patch on the background downloader for the last few weeks. If you've been using the launcer you should be fine but just to double check open up the Background Downloader once the servers go down for maintence tonight. Leave it on all night (turn your monitor off)
Those having trouble with the Blizz Downloader should try downloading it manually. Here's a few links to help with that process :

You'll need to download the
3.0.1 Preload TBC -> WotLK (Part 1)

Just remember your not alone in your confusion. Dont be afraid to ask someone else of your class about things. Everybody's all going to be in the same boat . Let's all help each other out :D
Mounts & pets are now spells
Your mounts & vainty pets are now spells. You use the item that normally summons the mount/vanity pet . The item then disappears. Then you open your character frame by pressing "C" then going onto the Pet tab there. Drag that button out onto where your normally have your mount/vanity pet. There's a key combo for getting to this screen
Addons will need to be updated
Yes it's going to be chaos. The first thing to try is to turn on "Load out of date Addons"
If that doesn't fix it you may want to go looking for updates. If no update just turn em off for the next week or so.

Barbershops
You can now change your hair style and various other little things (eg your horn style on a dranei). There should be barbers in IF & SW (not sure about Darn). Go ask your favourite guard about where to find your nearest barber (SW guard on the left FTW she's hawt :D)
I expect people to show up to raids with new haircuts every day till the novelity dies down.
Battleground Marks & Marks of Justice
No don't panic. They haven't disappeared. They've just become part of a new system tracking these so they don't clutter up your bags. This reporter cant remember how to bring them up but recalls there is a tab off the Character Frame for it. There's also a way of showing them in your inventory on the same line as your money.
Training Dummies
There are now training dummies in IF & SW to test your DPS on. There's levels 1,60,70, and 80 ones I think. There's also a boss level one.
The IF ones can be found in the Military ward , facing out from the hall you enter your battle grounds in (ie stand in the entrance and walk across the plaza and should find it). The SW ones can be found in that place you go to train Rogues at (SI 7 ?) . It's just around from the place you go spend your honour at :D
Macros / keybindings are now stored server side
You can now log into another computer and having your keybindings/ macros just "there" without having to copy files over :D
You can turn this setting off by running the command "/console synchronizeSettings 0" on each account/computer you have, or by adding the line 'SET synchronizeSettings "0" ' to your config.wtf file on each computer.
Inscription
The new profession for modding your spells is in. You can level it to 375 but not above. For more details go here :

Calender
That funny button on your mini map is the new in game calender. It'll have in it what battleground weekend it is , when the ingame events are coming up and when the nest Darkmoon Faire is. You can also slot in your own events so Jujuga ...we can schedule that date together :D
Achievements
This just in - you get awards for vitrually anything you can do in wow :D . Like to belch a lot ? There's an achievement for that :D Like to die in Raids a lot ? There's one for that too :D
Find the key for bringing these up in your keybindings. There's also a button on your bar for it. And that's all I have to say for that :) . Yes it's another source of epeen :D
No there are no Deathknights or Northrend
That's Wrath content. So stop asking :D
